Our comprehensive, fully guided day tour begins with a breathtaking excursion to the Grand Canyon – one of the Seven Wonders of the World. The journey will take us via Lake Mead, the world’s largest man-made lake and onwards to Hoover Dam, a National Civil Engineering and National Historic Landmark. You’ll encounter dramatic views of both the Colorado River as well as Lake Mead. As we continue to travel through the Arizona Desert, learn about the early Indian explorers and settlers. A lunch (included) stop will be made. After a satisfying lunch, trek along paved roads that wind round the rim of the Grand Canyon and be wowed by plunging gorges and the multi-colored rock formations. Our excursion will take you right into the Grand Canyon National Park, stopping at the new state of the art visitor center (offering information on all aspects of the Grand Canyon), Mather"s Point (the deepest part of the Canyon) and Bright Angel Look-Out Point (the most panoramic destination of the Canyon). After an exciting time spent at the Grand Canyon, we journey towards Seligman, Arizona, a quaint and historical town, located right in the heart of Historic Route 66, the old “MAIN ROAD” of America. From there, we return to the NEON city of LAS VEGAS, ending our one day Scenic Excursion.
